What happens to the ads my clients saved?

Your clients' saved listings are safe. This article explains what carries over after the Search Page update — and what does not.

Clients' Favourites are preserved

If a client was logged in to their Vivastreet account when they saved a listing using the heart icon, that listing is still in their Favourites. They can access it from their Vivastreet account as normal — nothing has changed on their side.

What about clients who were not logged in?

Listings saved without a Vivastreet account are not retained across sessions. If a client tells you they cannot find a listing they saved before, the most likely reason is that they were not logged in at the time. You can encourage them to log in or create a free account so their Favourites are saved going forward.

What about clients' previous saved searches?

Saved searches from the old Search Page are not automatically transferred to the new one. However, clients can recreate a search in about 30 seconds using the new search drawer — and they can set up an email alert so they are notified automatically when new matching listings are posted, without needing to search again manually.

What you can do

Encourage your clients to save your listing using the heart icon when they view it. This gives them a direct path back to you without needing to search again. If a client tells you they cannot find your listing, you can point them to the Search Page and suggest they save it this time.
