If the Search Page looks unfamiliar or something looks out of place, this article explains how to tell the difference between intentional design changes and a genuine display issue.
Why the Search Page looks different — intentional design changes
The Search Page has been completely redesigned. If it looks unfamiliar, that is expected — the following changes are intentional:
- VIP carousel at the top — a scrollable strip of premium listings appears above all other results; this did not exist before
- Larger listing cards — more information visible without clicking through
- Highlight listings show 3 photos directly in the results grid
- Sticky toolbar — search and filter stay pinned at the top as you scroll
- Next / Previous pagination — numbered pages (1, 2, 3…) have been replaced
- Slide-up drawers — used for search, filters, and category selection instead of dropdowns
None of these are faults — they are the new design working as intended.
What to do if the page looks genuinely broken — not just different
Signs that something is wrong rather than just redesigned include: large blank sections where content should be, buttons that do not respond when tapped, images not loading at all, or text overlapping incorrectly.
If you see any of these, the following steps usually sort it out:
1. Refresh the page — pull down on mobile or tap refresh in the browser
2. Clear your browser cache — go to browser settings and clear cached images and files
3. Try a different browser — Chrome, Safari, or Firefox
4. Try on a different device — phone vs laptop, or Wi-Fi vs mobile data
5. Disable browser extensions — particularly ad blockers, which can interfere with page layout
