Why was my ad refused? - Not Enough Information

Help to publish an ad after it has been refused for lack of information (all categories).

One of the most common reasons for your advert to be rejected or taken down is because it doesn't contain enough information.

How will I know?

If your ad is refused for this reason you will see this screen:

Common causes:

You didn't put enough unique content in your description. As a guide, try describing at least 5 different aspects/features/benefits of your product or service (while abiding by our other content rules).

How can I fix it?

Your description is your opportunity to describe the features, benefits and most desirable aspects of your goods or services. Too little information can lead to users overlooking your advert as they may not think it meets their needs and instead click on another ad that the user can see meets their needs based on the detail in the description.

Be unique:

Don't just repeat what everyone else says, your description is your chance to stand out and show your individuality. Tell users why your product or service is different or better than others.

Set expectations

The more a potential client knows before contacting you, the less likely they are to take up your time with basic questions or seek a product or service you don't offer. This will help avoid disappointment and uncomfortable conversations if a prospective client has received the product and it is not as they imagined, or if the advertiser or client has incurred cost and travelled, only to find that the product or service is not what they wanted, or the client doesn't meet your service criteria.

Interactions

Think about what can make your interaction with clients go as smoothly as possible. What can users who engage with you expect? How does a good interaction look for you? Do you have any rules or stipulations? What hours is your service available? Do you have any expectations of potential clients?
