he search drawer is the starting point for finding anything on Vivastreet. This article explains how to open it, what each field does, and how to run and edit a search.
How to open the search drawer
Tap anywhere on the search bar at the top of the page. The search drawer slides up from the bottom of the screen with three fields:
1. What are you looking for? — type a keyword (e.g. "blonde", "massage", "friend")
2. Location — type a town, city, or postcode. Matching suggestions appear as you type.
3. Category — your currently selected category. Tap to change it.
How to choose a category in the search drawer
Tap the keyword input area in the search drawer to open the full Vivastreet category list. Browse and tap a category to select it. Available categories include Escorts & Massages, Free Personals, Services, Buy & Sell, Vehicles, Holiday, Residential Property, Classes, Jobs, Farming, and more.
How to search by location
Type a town, city, or postcode in the Location field. Matching suggestions appear in real time — tap one to select it. If you type a postcode such as "W1", you will see specific area suggestions (e.g. W1 Chinatown, Central London).
If no matching location is found, you will see no suggestions — try a different term or a broader location.
How to run your search
Tap the green Search button. The results page loads showing listings that match your keyword, location, and category.
How to edit your search after running it
Tap the search bar at the top of the results page at any time to reopen the search drawer. Your previous search details are still there — change what you need and tap Search again.
How to repeat a recent search
The search drawer shows a "Your Recent Saved Search" section with your most recent searches. Tap any of these to repeat that search instantly.
