Your profile page shows all your live ads in one place, with a few details about your account. Here's what's on it and how it works.
What's on my profile page?
Your user ID
How many live ads you have
Member since: when you joined Vivastreet
Last login: the last time you logged in to Vivastreet
Your live ads
Who can see my profile page?
It's a public page. Most people find it by clicking Posted by on one of your ads. From there they can see all your live ads together, including ads you've placed in different towns.
Why is there no call button on my profile anymore?
People can still call you from each of your ads. They open the ad and use the contact details on it.
Why does my profile show when I joined and when I last logged in?
Member since and Last login help people see that you're a real advertiser who uses Vivastreet.
You can't hide them at the moment. We're working on letting you choose what shows on your profile.
If you're worried about your safety because of what your profile shows, contact us and we'll help.
One of my ads isn't showing on my profile
Only live ads show on your profile. If one is missing, open My ads and check its status:
Expired: renew it and it will show again.
Waiting for approval: it shows once we've approved it.
Refused or deactivated: we'll have emailed you the reason. Make the changes and send it again.
If your ad is live and still isn't on your profile, contact us. Send us the ad ID and the link to your profile so we can check.
My ads have expired. What happens to my profile?
Your profile stays, with the same link. While you have no live ads, it shows no ads.
As soon as you post a new ad or renew an old one, it shows on your profile again.
Will my profile link change?
No. Your profile keeps the same web address, so any link you've shared still works.
Can I edit my profile or add a description?
Not yet. For now your profile shows your account details and your live ads. To change what people see, edit your ads.
We're working on more options for your profile and will let you know when they're ready.
