If filters are not behaving the way you expect, here are the most common causes and how to sort them out.
Filters are not changing the results after being applied
The most likely cause is that Show Results was not tapped after making your filter selections. Filters are only applied when you tap the Show Results button at the bottom of the filter drawer — the results do not update automatically as you make selections.
Resolution: Open the filter drawer, make your selections, then tap View Results.
Filters return no results at all
No results means no listings currently match all of your filter selections combined. This is not a fault — it means the search found nothing for those specific criteria.
What to try:
- Remove one or more filters and try again
- Broaden your rate range slider
- Increase your distance radius
- Remove the age or ethnicity filter if you have set one
- Try a broader location
Filter selections reset after I made a change
Filter selections reset in two specific situations:
- You switched to a different category — filters that do not apply to the new category are cleared automatically
- You tapped the Reset button at the top of the filter drawer
Outside of these two situations, your filter selections should persist when you open and close the drawer. If they are resetting unexpectedly without either of these actions, try refreshing the page and setting your filters again. If the problem continues, get in touch via the chat icon and we will help.
A filter option I expected is not available
Some filter options are category-specific. If you are browsing a non-adult category, certain filters — such as age range or specific service types — may not appear. This is by design — those filters are not relevant to all categories.
The rate slider is not working properly
Make sure you are dragging both ends of the slider — both the minimum and maximum handles. Tap and drag slowly, especially on a small screen. If the slider appears but does not move, try:
- Refreshing the page
- Clearing your browser cache
- Trying a different browser
